Cleared Strategic Communications Specialist - #2024_05

Description: Work on a team that provides communication products and perform communications activities in support of a senior leadership front office.

Duties/Responsibilities

  ·  Provide communication products and perform communications activities to include, but not limited to, digital communication products, bios, informational articles,human-interest stories, and formal leadership messages in written or other multimedia formats. As appropriate, include photos and coordinate internal video and audio recordings and photography services for content to be included in publications.

  ·  Develop strategic communication and public relations plans, identifying the most effective channels and tools to engage audiences and maximize reach.

  ·  Communications should be forward leaning to meet an evolving and multigenerational workforce.

  ·  Implement evaluation tools, such as surveys, to assess the effectiveness and impact of communication. Monitor and summarize communications activities, including digital communications.

  ·  Collate and draft news and information to share via the office's internal and external websites as well as other office's websites such as those managed by the Directorate-level Communications Team and the Office of Public Affairs.

  ·  Draft articles to communicate front office initiatives to the entire sponsor population. Draft messages and multimedia presentations from senior leadership to the office's entire workforce.

  ·  In support of retirement ceremonies, draft retirement congratulations messages for Leadership to send to retirees and executive level talking points for use at retirement and Honor & Merit Award ceremonies.identified by the Sponsor to ensure timeliness and success for the events.

Required Qualifications:

·      U.S. Citizenship

·      Requires an active TS/SCI security clearance w/ Poly

·      Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Media Relations, related fields or equivalent professional experience

  ·      Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in corporate communications

  ·      Experience writing press releases, reports, articles, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar, writing, and editing skills.

  ·      Ability to organize, write, and edit documents to appeal to specific and varied audiences

  ·      Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think strategically

  ·      Highly creative and innovative in identifying modes of communications and means of creating visually engaging, impactful communications content

  ·     Experience using SharePoint and Joomla.

  ·     Experience with audio and video recording, such as podcasts, livestream and recorded events, and accessibility (for example, adding closed captioning to finalized videos).

  ·     Experience interacting with customers at all levels and in different offices throughout the organization.

  ·     Working knowledge of web-publishing techniques.

Cleared DevSecOps Engineer - #2024_04

Description: Use experience with DevSecOps tools and processes to Engineer and operate DevSecOps pipelines and automation that enable continuous integration and continuous delivery of Python container-based capabilities as part of a software engineering effort. Architect and implement build processes for consistent software delivery. Enable test automation to improve quality of delivered capabilities.

Duties/Responsibilities

·     Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications      

·     Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components                            

·     Translate system requirements into design specifications                            

·     Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production  

·     Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications                  

·     Implements Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, security, Site Reliable Engineering (SRE) and several other engineering disciplines around DevSecOps

·   This position has no supervisory responsibilities

 

Required Qualifications:

·      5 years years of experience in using DevOps Tools, such as Github/Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Sonatype Nexus

Cleared Full Stack Developer - #2024_03

Description: Responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code. Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide. Leverage new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud mindset.  Using Agile methodologies, modern languages, popular software architectures and frameworks, cloud technologies, and microservice-based approaches, lead the development team to build innovative, complex systems. Collaborates on the design and the environment to make sure the solution being developed considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Possesses strong experience in Python coding including API development as well as usage of version control systems such as Github.  Strong experience in cloud architectures and engineering preferred.                        

Duties/Responsibilities

·     Leveraging the Scrum methodology to plan and execute tasks within the project Program Increment strategy                                     

·     Software development includes use of Python, Java and various shell scripting activities                                          

·     Use of Spark, Hadoop, HUDI technologies software architectures and frameworks                             

·     Deploy Cloud infrastructure using AWS C2S available services in the IDL VPC boundaries.  (Many services are deployed using a serverless architecture like Lambda functions and associated services)                                        

·     Deploy small units of code in a managed way using Microservices and Kubernetes container orchestration                                    

·     Leading teammates on innovation approaches to solving hard data set engineering issues and cloud configurations.  This includes working with the ISSM and various networking professionals to ensure data routing and access meets needs                            

·     Use of Python and/or Java while deploying the code in an automated fashion where Jenkins is linked to Github.  This facilitates unit testing, code review, code coverage etc. as part of coding best practices    

 

Required Qualifications:
